Born May 16 1981 London England, is director, writer, director best known for his role as Klaus Mikaelson in The CW show The Vampire Diaries and its hit spin-off The Originals of witch he has directed 3 episodes. Joseph has also written, produced and directed 2 short films, CAROUSEL, and REVELATION, and is the co-founder of Night Owl Productions.

Born October 25 1977 is an actress best known for the TV series GIRLFRIENDS, and THE VAMPIRE DIARIES. Persia is also a passionate filmmaker and musician. Co-producer of the award-winning documentary “EARTHLINGS” narrated by Joaquin Phoenix. Persia has directed and performed in the music video “Strange Fruit,” as well as the short film “Emotional Landscapes” for Ovation and Russell Simmons. She is the co-founder of Night Owl Productions, co-wrote, produced and starred in the short films 'Revelation' and 'Carousel' and is currently in post-production for Danny Strong’s new FOX TV show ‘PROVEN INNOCENT.’

Mecca White, born October 7, 1995 in Los Angeles California. Mecca is a recent graduate of The Los Angeles Film School, with a degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies. Mecca wrote, directed and starred in the comedic short film Juice Truck. Mecca received a scholarship from New
York Film Academy and as a result trained in New York for a year. She has also trained in England at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, as well as The Groundlings improvisational and sketch comedy school in Los Angeles California. Mecca attributes her foundation in the arts to her creative family of filmmakers and actors who immersed her in a world of art, film, and laughter, but above all her true passion for comedy and innovative thinking.

We will be honoring Ms. Persia White (The Vampire Diaries, Girlfriends, Proven Innocent) as this year's WIFF Woman in Film Honoree in a special ceremony highlighting her industry accomplishments.
We will be also be revealing a never-before-seen tribute video starring several of Ms. White's esteemed fellow filmmakers & actors in the industry!
